URL QR code generator
Paste a link, get a code. Free codes never expire and never show ads before your page.
Sample. Fill in to make it yours.
Prints a short link you can change after printing, with scan stats. Free account, 3 codes included.
PNG, JPG or SVG up to 1 MB. Stays in your browser.
A picture behind the code. The fade keeps it light enough to scan. Stays in your browser.
Higher tolerance survives scratches and logos but makes the code denser.
A URL QR code is the most common kind: it opens a web page. The link is written straight into the pattern, so a free code made here works for as long as the page exists. There is no account to keep alive and no redirect through our servers.
Some generators make "free" codes that send scans through their own site and stop working after a trial. We do not. If you need to change the link after printing, or want to know how many people scanned, use an editable code. That one does go through our redirect, and you can see and change it in your dashboard.
Where a link QR code helps
Posters and flyers
Event pages, sign-up forms and product pages, one scan away.
Packaging and labels
Instructions, ingredients, warranty registration.
Presentations
A code on the slide opens the deck, the paper or the demo.
How to make a link QR code
- 1
Paste the full link. Shorter links make simpler codes that scan faster.
- 2
Choose colours and a logo, or leave it black on white.
- 3
Download SVG for print or PNG for screens. Scan it once before you print.
What an editable code adds (3 free with an account)
Change the link later
The printed code stays the same. You point it somewhere new from your dashboard.
Scan stats
Scans per day and hour, countries, cities, phones and languages, without cookies or tracking pixels.
Pause a code
Turn a code off for a closed event and back on next season.
link QR code questions
No. A static code contains your link directly and does not depend on us. It works as long as your page does.
Static: the link is fixed in the pattern, free forever. Editable: the code points at a short link on our domain, so you can change the destination and count scans.
Not for static codes. Make as many as you like.
Yes. Codes you make are yours to use in any print or product, with no attribution needed.
