WeChat QR code generator
Link articles and web pages that open inside WeChat. For adding friends, use WeChat’s own code.
Sample. Fill in to make it yours.
Prints a short link you can change after printing, with scan stats. Free account, 3 codes included.
PNG, JPG or SVG up to 1 MB. Stays in your browser.
A picture behind the code. The fade keeps it light enough to scan. Stays in your browser.
Set to Max because a logo covers part of the code.
Be clear on what a third-party QR code can and cannot do in WeChat. Adding a personal friend, joining a group chat and paying through WeChat Pay only work with codes generated inside WeChat. Those codes contain WeChat’s own links, which the WeChat scanner checks. No outside generator can make them, including this one.
What does work: any web link scanned with WeChat’s scanner opens in WeChat’s built-in browser. Official Account articles (mp.weixin.qq.com links) open normally, and so do most business websites. Links to some sites may show a warning page first, so test yours. For a branded code that keeps the same look as the rest of your print, paste your article or page link here.
