A picture behind the code. The fade keeps it light enough to scan. Stays in your browser.

Set to Max because a logo covers part of the code.

An email QR code opens the phone’s mail app with a new message to you. You choose the subject and the body, so every email arrives labelled: "Warranty claim", "RSVP: yes", "Order 1042". Sorting them later takes seconds.

Prefilled bodies work like a form without a form tool. "Name:", "Order number:", "Problem:" on separate lines tells the customer exactly what to write. Keep it short: very long text makes the code dense and harder to scan.

Where a email QR code helps

    1

    Warranty and support

A code on the product label opens an email to support with the model number in the subject.

    2

    RSVPs

Invitations with two codes: one subject says "Yes", the other says "No".

    3

    Quotes and enquiries

Trade show stands collect enquiries with the event name already in the subject.

    email QR code questions

The phone may ask to set one up. For people who use webmail only, a contact form link can be a better choice.

The address is readable by anyone who scans it, the same as printing it. Use a shared inbox, not your personal address.

Not in this form. Most phones ignore CC in QR codes anyway. Set up forwarding in your inbox instead.

Yes, if that app is set as the default mail app on the phone.
