How to set up a restaurant menu QR code

Print one code per table, point it at your menu, and update the menu whenever prices or dishes change. The table cards never need reprinting.

PDF or hosted menu?

If you already have a designed menu, upload it as a PDF. If you would rather type it in, a hosted menu page lists sections, dishes and prices, looks good on a phone and is easy to update. Either way, use a dynamic code so you can change the menu behind it.

Table cards and placement

Print the code 3 to 4 cm wide on a table card or sticker, with a short line such as "Scan for the menu". Use matte paper to avoid glare under restaurant lights, and put the code where it can be scanned without moving plates.

Keep a few printed menus for guests who prefer them or whose phone is flat.

Lunch, dinner and languages from one code

With destination rules on Pro, one code can open the lunch menu before 3 pm and the dinner menu afterwards, or show the English menu to phones set to English. Scan statistics tell you which hours are busiest.

Questions

Yes. Edit the menu or upload a new PDF; the code on the tables stays the same.

Add a separate Wi-Fi code to the table card. Guests join the network without typing the password.
