About EAN-13
An EAN-13 holds a GTIN-13: a company prefix from GS1, your product number and a check digit. Shops worldwide scan it at the till, including in the US and Canada.
The number has to be yours. Shops and marketplaces check it against the GS1 register, so get a company prefix from your national GS1 office first; we only draw the barcode.
